Meet the team 2



Jim Hewson - Senior Teacher
BA (Hons) Psychology, PGCE (Primary)
MSocSci (Sociology) PGCE (Autism)

Jim is responsible for managing our Transition Class at Lambs Grange.  All students entering school are psychologically profiled and equipped with personalised behaviour support systems.

Jim trained in Child Psychology and has spent most of his career in a range of special needs settings. Jim now draws on his extensive knowledge to support the learning of his students and engage with their autism through a range of behavioural and cognitive therapies.

Jim supports the humanistic ethos of Lambs Grange and believes his role is: "to create a physical, social and cultural environment which acknowledges the strengths of individuals with ASD so they can achieve their potential and go on to maximise their independence".

Lambs Schools work to reduce autistic behaviour and increase other awareness
